The Toronto launch of Traces of the Past was part of a wonderful evening set inside the beautiful historic sanctuary of the Kiever in Kensington Market where Sara joined in conversation about rediscovering forgotten urban spaces with Shawn Micallef, editor of Spacing Magazine, filmmaker and architectural photographer, David Kaufman and Lisa Rochon, architecture critic for the Globe and Mail. The evening was presented by Makom, a grassroots community integrating arts, activism, spirituality and learning – together with the Kiever Synagogue, celebrating their 100th anniversary.
